I seldom feel compelled to write reviews, but Cody is absolutely exceptional and I’d never hire anyone else for dirt work other than Cody in the future, period. Cody blew me and my wife away on a fairly large job and exceeded any expectations we ever did or could have. Here’s why: First, Cody’s pride and standards of workmanship is off the charts. Cody treated our land like it was his own, and I can’t tell you how rare that is. Cody tailored the work we needed done not only just how we wanted it, but he also constantly went above and beyond our expectations to make the final product not just good, but great. He did all the work with the perfect nexus of being cost conscious while also not sacrificing exceptional workmanship — we appreciated this to the moon about Cody. We were completely thrilled with how it all came out. Second, Cody’s professionalism is a much lost art these days and is a total breath of fresh air. Cody was extremely punctual, a fantastic communicator, offered fantastic advice and recommendations (all of which we adopted!), he’s very prompt to return calls/texts, and he works extremely hard. To top it off, Cody is one of the most pleasant people you’ll ever come across in addition to Cody being wonderfully honest and down-to-earth (no pun intended!). Third, Cody has been doing dirt work for a long time and knows the land, terrain and weather burdens here in Washington. This matters, a lot. His knowledge set proved critical about how to shape the areas we wanted dirt moved not just in terms of aesthetics but also for structural integrity. Couple this with a mastery of his equipment and process. Fourth, Cody’s skill set is very diverse and is not limited to just moving dirt. Cody installed a large, fantastic french, some water lines, and hauling in rock to prep some shed pads, in addition to the clearing and leveling he did. It was a large job and he couldn’t have done it any better. In sum, I cannot recommend Cody any higher, and I say this as someone that just about never hops online to give recommendations. I only do so when I find the best out there, and Cody is certainly that: the best. (Thank you, Cody — you’re a complete gem)
